Not that clued up mate, vividled is the sponsor here so worth msgin him, I think quite a few ppl have bought off him. Depends on budget, plant numbers etc. I'd wait for someone to drop in who can give you some decent advice, never used mars myself

Ok, well I've got an Invisible sun ish150 pro on full and a 250 mh in a 80x80x180cm tent, temp now is 25c. Never been able to run led alone without radiator. Vivid will do a similar version of what I have which does 2-4 plants, covers about 2-3 foot.

Does them in diff spec for veg/flower/full run. This is what you want to compare to the mars you were on about to, see the diff but I imagine anyone would recommend this over mars, but I could be wrong

do you have a price in mind?
there is always the possibility of running a hps in a cool hood/tube.

im running 2x mars sp250 lights in my tent (1.5m x 1.5m) been having some decent results with them, they also have removable driver so you can mount the driver outside the grow space
being a relatively new grower i believe my ability is holding the lights back, i managed 15oz dry from 6 plants using organic nutes in soil with my first grow.

Couple of hundred I suppose, yes I have a cool tube with dimmer ballast 250-600 it just gets to hold atm, that is a good result! I’ll have a look at those thanks

a friend of mine recently bought one of the big mars lights i think it was the II 1600w and he has gone back to his 600watt hps as he wasnt impressed with it.
i think the technology of the led lights is going in the right direction but you dont want to be sucked into buying one of the older cheaper blurple lights with there inflated figures.

quantum boards look good but there pretty expensive

From what ive been reading you need to be spending quite a bit on led lights for them to be worth using... ive been looking at some lhg white leds for my next grow, only problem is they are £750+ each lol
