Default Critical 2+ Auto Not Sprouting After 5 Days

I had a pretty successful grow last year. Well, successful for me. Thought I'd try a single plant this time round as my little tent got crowded with 4.

I put a seed straight into Allmix about 1 inch down and have wet the soil. No sign of the plant 5 days later.

I just moved it under a light as it was in a dark spot.

Any idea when I should give up and plant another?

    best wishes

    R

An inch down is a little far, it may take a little time for it to surface

Thanks for response. I got my greatest success from "Drogon", a seed I dropped into the pot and could not find. Advice from here led me to gently water her and eventually she sprouted. But Drogon was on the surface, or just under. I'll post updates if and when she shows.

    This one is called "Foxy".

    warm regards

Like MC said, give it more time, it should come up. Just had one my self, I thought wasn't going to pop up, but she is up this morning, Time is your friend.

I literally still have tons of stuff left over from las grow. I have cookies in the freezer all made from the leaves and stalk butter. I have most of the buds still and only have an occasional jay myself. I get hyper critical of myself when I partake, which is unfortunate. The cookies are for my wife who suffers from chronic pain. I harvested my first grow at the beginning of December 2018, so you can see it was productive! Only one plant this time instead of 4!

    warm regards

I normally bury it 1cm, I always start off with more plants than I need too. So if you need 1, start with 3 in small pots and keep the strongest one

It's with great sadness I have to announce that I am terminating Foxy's grow today. We are having neighbor problems and the risk is too great right now.

Thanks everybody for the advice. I am sure you have all been there with this kind of thing. We have a run of bad luck right now and I'm not taking chances.

I will return with my next grow, I promise.

    Warm regards

    R
