    Default Propagation tents

Looking to grab a propagation tent - ive found one on fleabay for £55 quid 0.6x0.6x0.9 which i would lay on its side i was also planning to get a 300watt CFL with a reflector now my question is would a CFL 300w kick off much heat in a space that big? Id be starting off 5 autos and they would be in there for around 25 days before going into the big tent. I do have a spare 4" fan that ill probably have on a timer 15 mins every couple of hours to keep air circulation or just leave the flaps open.

    Thanks in advance guys.

I've grown with a couple of 125w CFLs, the heat wasn't much problem... but it will always depend on the heat of the air going in

My 1st few grows were in a secret jardine 90x90x60 tent under cfls. Started with one light but for 2 plants I ended up with 2 big cfls with reflectors trimmed. Height was/is always a challenge, those lights take up a lot of space.. My tent was in the house for a summer grow and I struggled sometimes and had to leave the tent door open. Once it was moved to an outbuilding temps were better.

I've now moved onto cupboard grows using bespoke LEDs, but check my earliest diaries if you want.

    Happy growing
