    Default Auto grow novice!

    Hello all,
I've just started a 3 by 3 northern lights auto grow. I germinated the seeds (paper towel) i planted them in bio bizz and pre washed perlite with pH tested water, I planted the germinated seed without watering the pot first ???? so the only water was I guess from the wet perlite. Doew this mean they won't grow? I've watered them a coupe of times since with a small bottle kind of just sprinkled some water around the pot not to close to the seeed. Am I up the creek without a paddle ??! Someone help pleaseee

    Thanks Mike

    Hi mate, welcome along

So long as your soil wasn't bone dry then you should be OK

Sounds like you'll be fine doing what you're doing. You could spray the surface a bit using a spray bottle

Thanks for your reply mate .. I'm also new to forums so not sure if I'm doing this correct either ????

Some bits looked damp some bits very dry. I just sorted of done it to quick in an exited panicd sort of state ha. Should I keep adding little bits of water butt away from the centre ??
    Thanks ??

The classic mistake that new growers make is to overwater.

I water my soil & then don't add any more water until my pots are light

Yes water around the outer edges to encourage root growth and as above ^^^
Water and then water again when pots become light in weight
