    Been lookin n most day hum...
    Before i buy a smscom mk2 which pulses
    Is there a variac style twin thermostatic controller u der 100 quid new anywhere?

    Smscoms 89 and has a low hum.
    Looked at ram and ppl sayin it makes anything hum..

    I dont know what othet choises are good

    Whilst I love the idea of fans just idling along, that is the point that most controllers give up & the fan hums

    Myself, if I go much less than 50% then I get hum - but that's on a 5" extraction fan... above that, the technology for fans change

    My sms hybrid pro has never hummed, after 3/4 years I got a problem and they took it back and repaired it no problems without registration or receipts.
