I was stuck in a corner didn’t fancy driving with a boot full of perlite or trying to smuggle it under the mrs nose , so in the pots it went..

Quick silly question .. any additives I plan to add such as Rhizotonic or anything , that goes in after I've mixed a and b together yes ? And does it matter what order i mix anything after say rhizotonic and bud candy .. or is anything after a and b okay as long as mixed and diluted properly ?

Add in your rhizotonic first. Mix it. Then add A, mix that in. Then add B n mix that in.
A&B is usually last thing to go in to my water, I measure EC before A&B goes in so I can try judge how much to put in to reach my desired final EC......if that makes sense? Lol

Yeah thanks that's a great help I find the company's them self's aren't very clear at all .. they're YouTube videos seem to spend a couple minutes avoiding key issues and just rambling science haha

So if I was to use pk 13/14 later on in flower and maybe bud candy I should put them in before A and B still ?
And yeah I plan on using RO water or the budget can stretch to bottled mineral just because I want to start as close to 0 ppm per million and was going to go , Rhizotonic , Calmag then A and B and hopefully can keep ppm and Ec values where I want them to be

Soil seems soo much easier but was never happy with the yields and got them bloody knats one time from introducing some cheap B&Q soil lol lesson learnt there

Yes m8, because you will have to decrease the A&B a tad if your adding the flowering boosters. So you dont go sky high with the EC.

If its your first time in coco....make sure to buy decent Ph pen and EC pen. I use blue lab for both. Good reliable tools. Another good make is essentials a think they called?
    Dont buy cheap ones m8.

Thanks mate , yeah the ones I have my eye on are about £120-150 so avoiding them cheap £15-30 looking things , question .. I was going to get a 2 in 1 but I thought that might not stay calibrated very well ? Shall it get a separate device for ph and 1 for ec ? In your opinion ..

I'm in a very hard water are they call it .. this is what my water company says online ..

"This means that the water supply to your property contains very high levels (over 276ppm) of hard water minerals such as calcium and magnesium. These minerals are contributing factors to limescale and can affect the taste of your water.

Very hard water is not as effective at cleaning clothes, dishes, glassware and even you! Hard water minerals react differently to softened water and are less effective when it comes into contact with soaps and shampoos that can lead to dry or irritated skin and damaged hair. "

of course I beg the ppm is slightly higher than they'd like to report ..
