Cool m8. My background EC is 0.1 good Scottish water lol. I use a Cal Mag agent by CANNA. I usually start using about a week or so into the grow. Just enough to bring my EC up to 0.3-0.4. I stop using it in flower sometime lol.
Rhizo, a use from the get go at 2ml per ltr. Again....stop in flower, unless a go too low with my Ph. Then al add a little of Rhizo to bring ph up.
A&B....I usually only start adding once the first true leaves start to pale.....usually a few says after the seed sprouts through coco. Otherz, start adding it earlier than me. But its just what a do lol. Any time I increase the amount of A&B, its only enough to Raise my EC by 0.2 just to be carefull not to maybe fry the plants. Better being on the cautious side with these nutrients lol. Sometimes less is more.

Hopefully this helps u out a little m8. Atb

My town is renowned for water coming out the taps chalky .. I assume the local street dealers cheap out and use tap water because everything around here has deficiency or just garbage and of course they don't want to spend time and money on bottled water or RO but that's not really an issue for me , I'm looking to start as close to 0 ppm as possible and give my plants exactly what they need and have a superior smoke to any of the garbage pushed locally

Haha, I had the same thoughts when I first ventured over to coco. Was gonna get the blue lab gaurdian a think it was called? Sorry my memory is shit m8 lol.
But I ended up just getting two separate pens. Served me well they have. The good thing about blue lab....is u get a good warrenty on em.

One of our mods on here...Ice Calibur had an ec of 0.6 from the tap. I know it caused him some issues. But....he still grew some very nice weed. N a good yield it was too. A lovely blueberry strain.

Thanks mate that sounds very similar to how I plan to run things all the charts the nutrient companies provide will never work in my situation or with my tap water .. I've not measured it's ec yet waiting on equipment but will be interesting

I was also just planning on feeding the seedlings pure bottled mineral water for at least the first few days / week of they're life maybe with some rooting agents .. don't really want to start giving then nutrients until I have the first couple sets of true leaves .. I plan on running autos mostly anyway so the first couple weeks she shouldn't need to much other than sole rooting boosters after all I'm sure they'd do okay out in the wild for a few days with just rain water

Haha yeah I completely forgot the ones I had bookmarked but they were decent and I just seem to like the idea of a separate device my old school mind just sees the 2 in 1 getting tainted and falling out of calibration somewhere haha . I prefer the simple solution sometimes and it don't bother me grabbing another pen or stick

Bluelab Combi is what I would go for if moneys not an issue or I was replacing soon. Does EC + PH and has changeable probes so when it dies just plug a new one in rather than buying a whole new unit.
I went with their EC truncheon and separate PH pen but will be grabbing the combi when the PH pen packs up. Clean and calibrate em regularly and they stay accurate and last. Lost track how many times I've dropped the pen in my buckets, still kicking

NO SELL, NO SMELL, NO TELL!!!
