OK so I've decided to update my setup up a little, new tent, filter etc. Currently running a 6" rvk l1 but was thinking of getting one of the newer EC fans by systemair. Twice as much airflow for half the power and a considerable drop in dB.

Just wondered if anyone has one already and if they really are " wisper quiet " also will they still work with the evo fan control I have cos seen some new controls stating EC fan controller ?

when my 6inch dies i will defo be buying one of them. pricey, but worth it. need a good sized room though or at least a 1.2x2.4 tent as with a filter it is pretty long."

I replaced my rvk 6" L1 for a 6" gekko (claims 1000m3) no way does it pull that much. It pulls less than the rvk. But it is deffo quieter. So if you plan on getting a box fan. Get a oversized one!
