    Default Electrics

This is my first post so hello everyone.

What I'm after is advice on where to put the plug sockets etc.... are they safe in the tent or should I make sure they're out the tent? It'd be easier to run the extension inside and plug the light and oscillating fan in (RVK fan for filter is in the loft attached to the joists and running the air straight outside).

    Cheers

Hello, If you have the money I'd buy a ip65 box to put them in ( toolstation no. 50042)

If not a plastic bag round it and hang it above floor lvl.

My choice is to have everything outside, you never know when watering don't want any spills on plug sockets

Inside the tent - on the poles or an equipment board.
Whatever causes heat or takes up place is outside the tent and there as well, everything above ground level. My tents stay pretty much clean as of flood tables but there must be at least one flood in the groom each cycle lol... Dun want nothing on the floor mate

I moved mine out of the tent after having an extraction fan fail which left the humidifier to raise rh to the point that everything was dripping and wet. Scared me

Just make sure you have a rcd + mcb or an rcbo on the grow circuit. It makes the installation more stoner proof
