Talking Is this the correct fan controller?

Hey everyone. Hope you are all good.

Sorry for bringing up a topic I have brought up twice already.. Im just not savy at all as far as watts, amps and all that stuff is concerned. Safety is paramount but i also cant be bothered to be sending stuff back again. Was almost put of the whole idea by how much I was being messed about with ny first faulty led light.

Light is Sorted now though. And have the rvk 4" (100) + rhino pro filter. As stated before, was bit annoyed when discovered that would also need a fan speed controller ffs as had no money left but ive unexpectedly been slipped £60. On (auction site) the variac fan everyone was recommending (i think) was approx £60. Its fate. As Del Boy would say, "you know it makes sense" + Rodney liked a toke.

Anyway, wtf am i bangin on about? Is this Variac fan im lookin to buy the right one for my rvk 4" fan? Is it the right Amp?

Cheers for the patience, knowlege and feedback. V much appreciated. After I order the controller then all the main/expensive bits of hardware have been bought tf. Just all the wee silly bits&bobs left to buy when finish all this diy at home and create some space.

Cannot wait to the stealth build part. Lookin forward to it a lot + from what ive been reading, as far as my medical conditions are concerned its gonna be a huge game changer for me to get off the poison pharma i have to take multiple times each day.

    Cheers ppl

    Teddy

Yeh it looks slightly different on the front, mine has some blue on it, but apart from that looks good. 240v just means its a domestic plug I think, wiring inside looks like mine

Sorry folks, forgot to ask. After I buy the variac controller is that all I need or is there anything else? Once I have the fan and controller setup do I adjust the speeds manually, does the controller auto set the temps or do I need some sort of temp probe for the variac?

Hey bud, I used to use the variac speed controller and at first I thought same as you but sadly it's not automatic, you'll have to adjust the dial constantly to maintain a good temp to extract ratio. Personally I'd ditch it and buy a SMS controller, like £20/30 extra but definitely worth it
