Yeah, will have a look at the other plant magic nutes for future grows, this was always going to be an experimental grow to see if I could eradicate the problem.i still have 2 more dark devil seeds so will try again after this one.

Organicus 99? Also terrible...would you consider not being organic?

PM Grow and Bloom nutes for soft water (EC <0.2), PM MagneCal in doses of less than 0.5ml per litre (after 3 to 4 weeks), Epsom salts foliar sprays and my very best wishes. It won't be without problems, but with an auto, you'll see 7 weeks before you have problems and then it's just a case of hanging in there for the final 3 or 4. They won't look great but you'll be further ahead and that's ok.

Same, mate - absolutely the same. I've had the dubious fortune of growing in two wildly different locations, water-wise, in the last year.

When I lived in the South East, organic OT wasn't really a problem. Too much, in truth.

Since moving here, it was useless. Did nothing. Worse than nothing, probably.

Try biotabs if you like organics. Work wonders with autos. Check out my current diary for pics. No pH issues, no EC worries and no stress

I'm very tempted but again, how can there be a one size fits all solution when water varies so much, region to region?

I'm absolutely certain they are fine if you have a location where the water is suitable and I suppose there's only one way to find out but I'd be much happier if they came in at least a couple of variants depending on background EC.

Biotabs are Dutch, right? The Netherlands is tiny. I wonder if there's even any variation in water quality across the whole country? I'm being slightly facetious, of course, but it is worth pondering.

It doesn't matter. They dont feed the plant. They feed the micro life in the soil. The micro life in turn feed your plant

Well, sure, but a one-size approach makes no allowance for the what's in the water you're using - if simply only for calcium and magnesium?
