LED dilemma

Hi

I’ve been growing for around 15 years using the same 400w HPS (I change the bulb every couple of grows). I recently decided to go LED for two reasons less heat and lower costs. I’ve ordered a SolarXtreme 500 400W but it’s stuck in Europe and quick delivery is looking unlikely.
What do you think

a) bollocks to it cancel and stick with the trusty HPS
b) stop worrying about instant gratification and use the HPS until it turns up eventually
C) buy another type of LED (I’d really like something that is plug and play)

My budget is about £500 and I usually grow 4-6 plants at a time.

Thanks guys interested to hear your wise words.

I think you'll be happy switching to a quality LED, the one you ordered is probably a good one. You could also talk to one of our sponsors like vivid LED and see what they can do for you.

I'm using one right now. Real happy with plug and play, and I like the PAR at 18". I also like the fact that it only raised the Temps no more than 8 degree's difference than outside tent Temp's. I'm on Day 33 of Flower in my 3'x3'x6' Tent, with two Light Critical at the movement. I plan on doing 4 plants in my 4'x4'x6.5' tent next grow. I think you will like it.
