Right okay. Yeah will pass on the super cropping. I’m guessing I can lollipop when she’s actually in flower? Just to strip them popcorn buds off underneath ?

I appreciate all the replies. It’s proving invaluable I know there’s plenty of info online about but nothing like doing something for yourself is tbere!

Sorry I’m not the sharpest tool in the box! At what degree angle roughly am I aiming for the main stem to be? I had it pretty horizontal against the medium but you said to bring it up so the whole plants not tied over just the top half. I thought it wasn’t to bad as it is because the stems are getting quite rigid now and probably risking snapping something with it being horizontal. Works well now as I tie down then re tie next day but I’m still not sure if it’s sending most energy to lower half either way and hope it doesn’t f**k the scrog up if I cant get to lowers high enough up ?

Same as your diagram mate? Is there any chance of attaching a picture for reference of it on a actual plant?

I don't have one currently mate, just tie just above the cotyledons (first little leaves) and then tie to the side of the pot opposite to what you have already tied, does that make sense?

Yes makes sense mate so if I’m picturing it right it’d be on a kinda 90c - 180c angle ? Will that allow further growth to the lower shoots more so than now?
Looking flip in a couple of weeks so tempted stick with what I’m doing now to avoid any/further damage to the root and root system & just tie down the top node every day, hopefully when my new Sol-digital lamp comes. I’ll see a improvement!

So I’m using Canna Bio Vega and put in 1m P/L around 1/2 the recommended dose am I good at that ? 3 seem to love it but the other 2 don’t seem to as much don’t know if that’s nutes or training?
Got some Bio Flores on order for when time comes!

Aim for your main stem to be straight and the top node bent at 90 degrees, this is why you need to anchor it while it's still little so you don't tug on the roots or have a plant that's lying down on your medium this could end up with more problems, just stand her up tie the main stem one way and the top the other way, this will allow your lower shoots to try and catch up, I've never used the vega/flores, would need a lights off pic and a good few photos of each plant mate

Yeah thought I’d try the Bio range of canna nutes. Not sure if most users on here are from UK like me?

So I’m on week 4 today since potting into forever homes. Kinda regretting using HPS for veg now but that’s my fault & coronas??
To me they look small but Im hoping & praying they go through a nice stretching phase once flipped & lowers = equal canopy.
Not gonna rush it but aiming for 2weeks time to flip. Raised the light up to try get a bit more height/stretch.

You should be able see how Iv been bending for the last few days & im finding it better! It’s less demanding on my babies & I don’t mind going in to re bend the top nodes every day. I make sure the bottom nodes are not shaded throughout the day at all.. As hopefully you can see! The first picture is the one that is gonna be the biggest plant. Gonna give it a few days to a week then attempt topping the lower/upper growths as they’re nearly at the point where topping is possible

But the last picture I’m not sure if she’s stressed or I have a pest/nutes issue as you can see some leaves have holes but no signs of any pests. Just ordered some neem oil will foliar spray them to be safe. Be 4-5weeks before any buds so shouldn’t affect anything ?

Flick your lights off for a moment and take take some better pictures mate, so we can see the true colour and damage, they are about right for 4 weeks old though don't worry about that, they're focused on root growth for a good 2 week or so to begin with, I'd still say some of those need some support on the main stem, as for leaf damage, I'm swinging towards a bug problem, remember there's thousands of places for them to hide, as said lights of pic will definitely help, hopefully someone who's more experienced will pop by and assist on this too, since it could be of nutes splashing leaves, get them lights of pics up mate

Evening all, hope your staying well and safe
Managed to get a lights off picture Lowrollerbean (sorry my cameras not the best pal). I cannot find any signs or see any pests in there and it looks as if it’s ate itself rather than been nibbles at by a dozen caterpillars. Also with the odd copper colour spot on fb leaves. Heading towards stress/def or toxicity read that constant bending can cause stress to! Still gonna do a neem oil foliar spray once it arrives then will foliar spray water after for a week to wash the neem away!

So I just need to support the main stem with string right? Will tying it to the side of the pot do it?

So.. first picture is the one I can see it on most, but while your looking the lower two shoots that are growing outwards. Would I benefit from bending that so it bounces back & grows upward near the tip rather than outward?
Last picture : Strongest plant, count at very least 10 bud sites, with good lower leaf growth (nearly enough material to top) but also very thick and bushy. Not much lower light due to massive fan leaves. Not sure whether remove just top half fan leaves or leave and let every shoot develop first and just keep tucking them back?

Gutting I still not had chance to make a proper LST as in starting in smaller pot bending new shoots around the edge of the pot until there is shoots all round the circumference of the large ‘final’ pot. But I’m excited to see the way these are different in flower than previous grows.

They're looking fine mate, doesn't look as though they need the extra support anymore, just top or bend them main tops down, don't worry they will grow back up towards the light, how long are you planning on vegging for, I can't really see the little amount of LST would have stressed them much at all mate, weekly neem just incase it is bugs though, just tuck the big fan leaves mate, personally I'd whip them off before flower and give more light to bud sites, have you topped already? Pictures aren't very clear and neither is my phone mate

Yeah will keep a eye on that further I get into the grow may need some support but we’ll see I’m in there 2-3times day bending
Planning to switch to flower in between 7 & 13days. Shall I keep bending into flower and/or any other training methods? Seen as they’re fairly small. I’m interested in doing anything that will increase yield/light coverage? Attachment 383502
Yes I have topped them all around a week ago now! Up to 75% nutes now and will continue until probably few days into flower or when Flores comes in stock. Whichever comes first lol

Im so tempted to top the 2nd node up on the biggest which is 1st & 2nd picture I attached (side & top view). What would you do? Top? Strip lower leaves? Leave it alone? Would it do anything to increase yield.... Definitely gonna need to strip the big fan leaves once time allows, they’re not blocking lower half so I’m not overly fussed atm! Can’t remember having a plant before with that many lower and in general as many budsites, so that’s gonna be exciting!

3rd picture : Keep finding random ‘burnt’ parts of fan leaves. Any ideas ?

    What’s your lockdown grow Lowbean?
