Cool Some basic questions, indoors organic soil

Sorry for this as probably sounds dumb but I hear conflicting advice and I sometimes struggle to store info in my fried head lol. Got myself up and going properly now (she has been moved into a nice new budbox with organic soil, and a carbon thingy and extractor fan)
This is my first proper Gi at this although I did successfully raise 4 girls several years ago, the quality would not have been great for most of you! Only have one plant and she is probably quite damaged From previous setup, due to experiencing different time’s of light and dark recently plus over watering and probably wrong height of lights . But over a month since birth, she looks quite good to me, She is sitting a little uneven in her new 12 ltr fabric plant pot. From now it will be consistent 18/6. Got her 14inch from light (cdm) with an extractor fan carbon thingy. My friend tells me I don’t need the fan on until flower stage, is this correct? My light is one of those lumii solar 315 cdm which has the ballast attached to it. Not ideal but that’s what I got.
Another problem is I could see I was over watering so I didn’t water for a while and it seems to have fixed that. Now gave some nice grow feed and she is going to be treated like a princess from now on in. I just need to know how much watering I should give her. Not sure what to expect from this die to previous errors but hopefully she is a nice looking girl, a little petite for her age. I don’t have much expectations tbh. If it doesn’t work out I’ll improve next time and shall make sure I have more than one on the go. Any advice appreciated.

I’m on my first grow but I’m into flowering stage now. During veg you will need an intake fan for fresh air coming in and you need an out take fan which should be attached to your filter to get rid of stale air inside the tent to give a good air flow. It’s best to have a oscillating fan blowing on your plant to strengthen the stem and branches as they grow and keep temps down. Keep your temps around 26 lights on and 20 lights off. Humidity needs to be around 50-60 during veg. And lights just need to be a safe distance away from your plant to not burn it and not to far away that they are stretching for light Im not sure the safe distance with your as I use hps lights. As for feeding your plant check the dosage on your feed depending on what it is to start with just give a little bit less so she gets used to it then up it slowly over the weeks. Wish you all the best. And like I said I’m not an expert just letting you know what’s gone good for me so far with the help off others on here which has got me off to a good start

Cheers whitey! I bought a kit which was meant to have everything and it does have a fair bit of stuff I didn’t use last time. I will be able to check temps. The fan is sucking out the stale air with the carbon filter thing etc.
There is no fan on the plant strengthening the branches though. I will try and buy one today! I’m quite surprised this was not included for the cash I paid. Seems like they gave everything else, I just assumed the fan they gave me was enough but it is only really extracting, although it does seem to also create some mild airflow. Maybe they did not think it necessary. Any recommendations?

Secret jarden monkey fan it's designed to clip onto a vertical pole about £16 ish. Fans with a spring clip around carp on round poles.
So much to learn, so little time to learn it

Cheers le chef! Looks like my extractor fan can work if I dismantle all the set up which took me hours so this monkey fan will be perfect

No worries! Make sure you have a another fan bringing in fresh air from outside your tent too? Should be the same set up as your outtake fan but it brings in fresh air into the tent or set up instead of taking air out.
