The flowers are edible, and quite good, stuffed zucchini flower with cheese and herbs, baked or fried just enough to melt the cheese. Use the flowers that don't have Zucchinis below them.

So will this flower reopen? What do I do just leave it now or pluck it off? Can I eat that flower or does my lil courgette need it still?Click image for larger version.

No, it won't reopen, but it won't be good for eating, gotta get em fresh when they are open. Don't use the ones with veggies below them, use the "blind" ones.

The flowers only seem to open early in the morning. Also only on sunny days it seems? Is that the same with you guys?

I did harvest 5 courgettes on Sunday and used them in a baked feta salad. Delicious they were :-)

Very nice! You seem to have a different leaf structure than I do. I've never actually grown this brand of squash before so I don't know how it's going to look.

Starting to get a daily harvest now! Delicious too. But the leaves are very rough/sharp. Like splinters!!
