Just curious about thc % and homegrown

This might be a really dumb question so I'm sorry if it is, I'm just interested and I didn't know the answer myself.

If I use a well known breeders seeds which give a thc% of say 20%, do my growing practices affect the 20%?

So as a scenario:

2017 grow was not a great grow, had some issues and yield was affected. Is the thc % affected as well or just the yield?

The percentages given are from laboratory analysis - under ideal growing conditions. You'll always be a few percent below their quotes & lower that percentage again if your grow isn't optimal

I used to test my weed quite a bit when I was growing and the biggest effect I could find on percentage of THC I would get compared to the seed company is chopping my plant too early, if I let my plant go much longer than what I think it really needs I can hit their test results bang on with my upper buds tightly trimmed.

That's really interesting! I always want to leave my grows longer but I get too eager running up to harvest! Definitely give it longer than I think this time!

Yes jingo. I always give at least 80 days fr flip even if looks ready by say 65... I start flush only after it looks well done. Never effected the high... The opposite tbh
