Inexperience has stumped me here. Not sure if I'll get a 600w bulb in my tent as its getting to 29c with a 400w, but I do have a bigger fan on order. What would be best in a 1x1x1.8 m tent, 1 x 600w dual spec or 2 x 250w dual spec? All in reflectors and assuming in either scenario heat is managable.

Ok thanks, didn't know if spread out, even with lower lumen, it would be better or not. Swapping my 4inch rvk for a 6inch so see how temps go

Best coverage vs output would be 600 in a parabola.

However i do run 2 led panels rather than one so i can exactly see why you are thinking 2x250.

The 2 light set up will give you a more elongated hot spot, but less intense than 600 ( all in bat wings for comparison )

I grow in a 1.2x1.2x2m tent iv just switched to a 6" rvk fan and filter with a cool tube. My max temps now is 25 and it doesn't get any lower than 22

Yeh thats it man, I saw with the output diagram of my led that it gets lower toward the edge of the foorprint, thought maybe it was better spread out. Don't want a bigger hotspot lol

I’m havin the same issue now. 400w and my temps are sittin 30 pretty constant. Dread the think what it would be with a proper hot day outside. Iv got a 4 inch filter the now but think I’m goin to take it to 6 inch and probs a cool tube as well. I don’t think there’s any chance I’d be able to run 600w just now.

Mines tippin 29 to 30 but its pretty hot outside and thats with a 4 inch extraction. You must be growin in an oven to get them temps north of the wall Hopin one stops gonna email a "parcel en route" msg today for delivery of fan/filters/duct tomorrow, try get setup once and for all. Thats another thing innit, buy a new fan, ok...new filters and duct more than doubles the fan price lol, can't go any bigger for the space so at least I've hit the wall for a while
