    Default Humidity

Despite having grown for many years I’ve never really focused on humidity. My tent is in an outside garage which is great but my obsession with managing wild temperature fluctuations, bugs, smell, watering and light schedules really took over. A few weeks ago I noticed the my humidity was at only 18% so I bought a cheap child’s bedroom humidifier and the difference is amazing.
Ah well something new to stress about but I think this is far more important than I believed.

Depends on what stage you're at, but you always want your humidity around 40-50%. And never over 60% in flower.

I liked the results from vegging at 55-65%. The plants responded amazingly.

I think in veg if you have good air movement you can get away with high temp and humidity.. Within reason!

Grow lights that produce a high amount of heat reduce the humidity. You did a good job by adding a humidifier to your grow space. Most of the time plants inside grow tents suffer form lack of humidity. Always take care of the humid level of your grow space.
humidity above 60 % attracts many kinds of fungus diseases.
Fresh air ventilation helps to maintain the right level of humidity in grow tents.

True for sure. Gotta have constant air movement.
