    What does it mean if my ec is higher coming out than going in ?

    It means you are over feeding.

    The EC you put in is the feed, the runoff is the unused feed that accumulates (hence the higher number)

    The usual way would be to flush & then restart at around 20% of what you were feeding & monitor from there

    Could you answer a ph Q mate.
    Here’s my pens with ec and ph with what I’m feedin.

    And here’s my runoff.

    So I now know I’m over feedin but why’s the ph up.

    Also, when you say over feeding you mean actual volume of water not the amounts of nutes in it right ?

    Over feeding is the amount of nutes going in.
