    Default Calmag vs Epsom salts?

I have autos under an led and I seem to remember that in coco with led's it is best to supplement with calmag.
I have both calmag and Epsom salts so my question is, which is better and how much to use per litre, as a foliar spray and/or mixed with the nutes?

    Cheers guys

You need to know your background EC. What type of water is it? Hard or soft? That will to a certain extent determine what needs to be added.

Calmag is strong stuff. Go easy with it!!!! I use it to raise EC of my RO water from 0.02 to 0.3/0.4 depending on age of plant.

Without it I could not maintain pH.

It's the calcium that is important under LED so magnesium sulfate or Epsom salts aren't really going to do much for you.

0.3 or 0.4. it fluctuates a bit between those 2

Try a teaspoon of black treacle dissolved in a cup of hot water, let it cool pour it into a 330ml ish sized bottle, top up with tap water and add a teaspoon to every 2ltrs mix of feed.
It's cheep, has your calcium, packs on the crystals, and makes the smoke slightly sweeter!
