    Default Paying for seeds

I bought some (feminised) seeds online. The first three have not sprouted after 72 hours. The method I’m using is placing damp tissue paper on a plate, putting 3 seeds on top and Then more damp paper over the seeds and finally another plate on top. I put it in a dark warm place

I am hopeful that I have not wasted money as I paid almost £50 for 9 seeds (8 plus a free 1!)

I have not done this much but the times I have In the past, I’ve usually had quick results, so this time I am slightly concerned!

It happens. Some are duds. Always buy and germinate more than you need. Then select the strongest.

Yeah I bought a bunch of seeds last year and they weren't the strongest seedlings last year, this year I'm having a hell of a time with them. it's too bad, it seems to be gray beard here in the United States had a bunch of old auto flower seeds. It's nice to have a place to order from in the US but I want their seeds to be a little fresher.

I bought from Uk. I just did the float test with a seed (the free one) which looked great other than being very small!

After two hours it is still floating which means it’s a dud.

Should I contact the company about these seeds? £50 is a lot of cash to pay for nothing, got the seeds from a company who posted on THCtalk and post here. I am not comfortable complaining but like I said, it’s a lot of cash to pay for nothing

I should add the seeds say .NL so should be Dutch I believe. I am quite “scunnered” for use of a better word.

    That doesn't mean it's a dud..

Get some kitchen roll. Make it damp. Put seeds inside it and put it inside a plastic food tub you get from takeaways and then leave it in your airing cupboard for a few days. Then you'll see your duds... imo.

    Ok I’ll try that Slazenger.

Just read about the float test online and seems to be popular. But I will try germinate anyway, nowt to lose I guess!
