    Hello my friends!


    Im having a debate on Water coolers, i have a Hailea HC-250A.

    As i understand that this uses a cobber coil inside to cool the water..

    My question is , issnt cobber poisons to the plants?

    Cobber in the water cant be good? Anybody know?

    Well the water we drink comes out of copper pipes because its very unreactive

    Having said that, copper poisoning is a phenomenon. It would show up in your system as a blue/green deposit so if you see that then there might be a problem for you to worry about.

    In short, no problem with copper

    There is A small amount in my water, drink it every day and plants do also, No problem, when just A trace.

    I wouldn't worry about trace amounts of copper from your copper pipes, however it used to be people would coat the inside of their pots with copper because it'll kill the roots back, but then they found out it was toxic to the people too. So you don't see it use much anymore, I think they used to call it spin out.
