    Default Expiry date on nutrients?

    Hi all,

I still have a bunch of nutes left from previous grows from around 6 years ago. Are they still OK to use you reckon?

I have canna vega and canna flores that I want to start my girl on now and don't want to buy more if I don't have to.
Any way I can test them?

They'd probably be fine, but if they have crystalized you'd have to really shake them well to get the crystals to dissolve. Though, in 6 years you could have some chemical reactions that might not be good! As above, just get new, use the old stuff in the veggie garden.

The elements fall out of the suspension which can change the molecular structure...Dispose of them and get fresh save yourself a load of ball ache...There's a use by date on the bottle for a very good reason...

I've been using a couple of year old biobizz fishmix seems fine plants love it but I've just gone to use a 10 month old bottle of old timers pk 4-8 and it nearly made me go blind the bleeding vapour coming off it and it's smells like paint stripper mixed with cats piss so that had to go in bin
