Not tried one, did look into them but found more "waste of money" posts than "you need this now" posts when I looked so didn't bother.
They not cheap either by the time you factor in the fan. Just wasn't enough positives to justify the price at the time for me. YMMV.

Mine's static. Works fine as I point it to the tent and that dispurses the movement of the air.

Ah if it’s pricey m8 I’ll have to leave it, I’ve spent about 400 quid the last couple of months and the little bastards have looked the worst out of all I’ve grown lol
    Cheers

Pretty much. I just rig up a computer fan, power that with a "wall wart" power supply for an old modem. Zip tie that the a tent pole, tight enough that it doesn't flop about, loose enough that it can slide up and down.

When you consider that air is just as important to a plant as light or water, and that a oscillating fan will help get that air around so much better, helping the plants breath, shifting stagnant air and protecting against mould, shaking the stems and branches helping them to grow big and strong to grow the biggest best buds etc etc.... then when you consider how much a oscillating fan costs to buy and run.

    I'd recommend two oscillating fans.

I use two static clip fans to create turbulence

Just adjust as needed through the grow
