Default Sacrifice canopy size for access to plants

Quick one for you scrog'ers...i can have a canopy to where the boards are showing in the room however I will only have access via the front because of the walls. If I reduce the size to where the meter ruler is and split the SCROG in two I'll have access to every plant which will improve quality I guess but will reduce on available grow space....so the question is

Will a 2.16m2 canopy with limited access produce better results than a 1.62m2 with full access to manage canopy and undergrowth?

Either configuration will have 2x Wilma system. The option with full access would effectively be two seperate 90x90cm hydroscrog systems on wheels to move them around for access.

    Any thoughts welcome!

I have come to the conclusion that I will sacrifice canopy space in order to have easier access. I have done 3 scrog soil grows now, with 4 plants in a 1.2 x 1.2m tent. I am getting on in years, and I find that trying to reach in to the 2 plants at the back, in order to tuck / prune / defoliate is a pain in the arse.
For my next grow, I plan to use 4 x circular metal plant support frames, one per pot, so that the pots can be easily rotated to give me all around access without hurting my back.
My tent has an upstand at the front, otherwise I would also be considering castors, like you said.

That's what I went with...both "wilma carts" will have its own SCROG attached to the base

Modular scrog is a good option.

My last cellar grows were 6'x6' scrogs. Three 6'x2' trolleys on castors. Before that it was 4'x4' cabs with front and rear access.

I did attempt a scrog after downsizing. 32"x 32" cupboard. When it came time to cut the foliage below the screen, I wasn't agile enough.

Just found this thread. I like the castors idea. It would be good way to rotate plants if you built one small enough for a single 19L container.

My situation is bit different from yours but yes I'd sacrifice canopy space for space to move.
I used to fill my tent but couldn't get inside it which was a pia so I now i leave myself 6/8" to get in and stop light and smell spilling out.

That's some 6" ducting for scale.

Risk of running dry = More than zero = Go for more yield.

Risk of running dry = Zero = Go for the most convenient.

If it's a SCROG, won't the mesh prevent any movement? I'm nearly 70 and I have found that a long thin spout (indoor watering can) lets me reach easily. More difficult to prune, granted. I've just posted my first SCROG above, so I wish you all the best. From my initial flowerings, it looks to be worthwhile.
