Yeah cool tube, plenty of air movement and be prepared to turn light down to 250w when its really hot outside. Struggling myself at the moment

Get a portable aircon maybe? Also using LED would be cooler.

if you insulate the loft well and then make sure that it is completely sealed off from you house so it doesnt pull warm air from there, you will be ok. as its generaly the heat from the house rising and heating the loft.

so you will need an intake and out take from loft to outside of the house. intake on cooler side if possible.

other option is a fully sealed room with climate controll and co2

I've just tried the fully sealed and insulated way but had probs with heat, the humidity needs taking care of and if you want it electronically controlled by a hygrometer then it creates a lot of heat, only using a single 450w led light, ambient temps with nothing on are around 20c with very little effect from external temps, my light alone sends temps just over 28c, then each time the dehumidifier comes on it keeps climbing quicker than it can cool down and would reach over 35c if you let it run a 18hr light schedule. I had to buy an air conditioner but got a portable one, which they need an extraction, the really strong negative pressure effect then requires an in take, each time my air con kicks in it sucks all the extra c02 out with it.

I still think sealed is the way to go, but I think to gain full benefits you need to get a split air con installed. I've also tried both compressor and desiccant dehumidifiers and both cause a lot of heat in the room even though the air out the one with the compressor feels cool it still hears the room more. I've added a pic of showing the effects, for each three times the dehumidifier comes on the aircon kicks in.

increase you passive intake size to match that of your out. but keep negative pressure to stop smell leaks..

4" intake is way too small to work with a 6" extractor.

whats the measurements for the space? this is so i can calculate volume.

what extractor are you using? so i can determine airflow

where is your air coming from and where is it going to?
