    The leaves begin to resemble chips, they bend. Is that good?

    All looks good to me , I've run a few autos in the past and you find once the first couple sets of leaves show they tend to spend they're energy on the root system filling up whatever container they're in .. they'll take off soon enough they're just storing power the classic saying a watched kettle never boils
