Opinions though, innit? I would not say that a mag or nitrogen deficiency was at play here.

Overboard possibly yes but there’s no harm in doing so either. A simple water only feed ph’d a bit higher is what I’d recommend then just ease back on the nutes slightly.
I do regulate ph at 6.2/6.3 when watering. Canna Terra seems to need a slightly lower PH than what is normal for soil. I do feed every watering which happens to be every 2/3 days. The products label says that is ok to do so but yeah... next watering It will be just water.
It is true, it is an old leaf but many other have a burnt tip and I prefer to prevent bigger problems.
No not saying I never lose them, I’m saying there’s no need to just lose them and be happy with it. First thing I’d want to know is why it was happening.
Let me turn that question around and ask.. Is it impossible to get a plant to keep all it’s leafs until flushing?
I’m not saying you won’t lose leafs I’m saying if you are losing them try to find out why. There’s no reason for the plant to use stored minerals if your providing them correctly through the roots.
Yes it’s going to happen but if it is it’s not down to the plant being done with them in my opinion.
But at the end of the day whatever works works and I certainly wouldn’t lose sleep over a few dead leafs that’s for sure.
All the best fella
Thank you guys!
JMO but it looks like a bit of Nitrogen toxicity to me. Foliage will turn dark green and leaves will claw down with too much Ng, if left leaves will start to die and fall off, Ng toxicity is mobile and will climb up the plant.
So much to learn, so little time to learn it
Over fed & possibly over watered
