Default 4 weeks in and leaf burn...

    Hi folks

Firstly, I'd like to introduce myself as a complete newbie.

Thought I'd enjoy the isolationary benefits of lockdown with my own little hareem of luscious ladies, so I've started up 8 x Afghan Kush autos 'eau naturale' outdoors.

After germinating indoors, in a simple mix of compost, coir and vermiculite with no issues, I've potted on outdoors but am now experiencing a little bit of leaf burn, but only across half the plants.

Could I be overwatering those plants (currently twice a day), or am I experiencing a potassium deficiency?

Am awaiting a Ph reader (this weekend) which may help clarify one or two things, but in the meantime, and as a complete novice I'd appreciate any advice I can get in maintaining healthy outdoor plants.

    Thanks all

I don't see anything wrong in those pictures.

You won't get absolute leaf perfection outdoors, Pipeline. That looks like very minor bug action to me - nothing to sweat over.

Did you plant straight in the ground? If not, what size pots are you in? Unless they're tiny, watering twice a day seems a little excessive.

Can you post some pics of the whole plants?

    Sure thing - Pics follow...

They're currently in 20 - 30cm pots. I've got some 5L and 10L fabric pots waiting if needed, but they don't look like they'll grow to an enormous size...

I've purchased the nutrients kit online, but they'e still quite young right now, so no need to push in my mind? Is that correct?

    Thanks again

I still don't see anything wrong with either one of those plants, the one in flower is a little bit greener but not too green. I agree you probably don't need to feed anything right now.

You said above you are watering twice a day? COuld be the issue. They like a bit of a wet/dry cycle. Push it back to every second day.

I'll let them settle for a couple of days then, slow down the water cycle a bit as Priapus recommends below. The water butt needs a refill anyways!

    Thanks again chaps
