    Clones confuse me.

You could have plants that size in 2 weeks from seed...it doesn't make the end product any better.

You don't know they are, what you've been told they are, replanting is a bore, no idea on genetics...I just cannot see the upside.

Yeah I'm with you on that :')

I'm definitely going seed for the next one, this is my first time so I wanted something a little more easier to get used to watering and the whole shabang really.

I grow from clones all the time, they're easy, and IMHO give you about a 2-3 week head start over seeds, plus you know exactly what you're getting. I'm very picky about my clones, and always make sure they have a good root system growing through the rock wool or media. The two biggest issues with clones are: 1) Getting them adjusted to their new light source . 2) Transplant shock.

Most of my clone suppliers in my area grow under T-5 lights, so you have to introduce them to natural light (or HPS/LED) slowly over a couple days. If you put them under a harsh new light you'll lose leaves. Also, when transplanting a little transplant fertilizer will help ease the shock (this is true of any transplant). The plants you have are way too small to flower, and look like they could use some mild feed until the get established in their new medium.
