Default Some Q's !!! :::: Shortest Autoflowers? Growing inverted?

    Evening Talkers

    Question 1 :

What are the smallest autoflower strains? I have a hanging basket idea and would like something < 3ft????

I assume > 90% indica is the way to go? No experience with low ryders - perhaps useful?

    Question 2 :

Has anyone tried growing inverted with the light source on the ground? I would make customised pots to accommodate the job - to ensure feed does not hit the "top of the plant" ;-)

Stupid or not? I see so many upsides!!! Gravity could be the issue :-(

Guess I will have to try it out then !!!

I will flip the prop tent and see how I go!

Solves some issues like access and heat, but certainly adds complications !

If you don’t try and all that! Sure it has been attempted ... but I did not find much !

How will you work that idea? Train the plant under the hanging basket so it can get to the light underneath ? Am I thinking that right ? I’d be intrigued to see how it would go.

I will plant the seed upside down pointing to the "light". Think I will drop a Sour Crack into water and have a go. I know what's what with that strain and super speedy.

I have so much unused space in my vegetable cupboard which made me think of inverting a grow room for the top!

It works well with chillis, tomato and strawberries! Could all be a waste of time, but I like to play around and see what happens! If it is rubbish, I will try and use the poor victim for pollen!

In this picture it want grow straight down like hanging fruit, because it searchers for the light. If you have A strong enough light at the bottom, it might.

I think gravity is more of a variable than light if you're meaning to grow inverted.

Yeah this was what I was thinking with a 150W QB at the bottom of the prop tent. Will put it on something heat proof and with air flow!!!

I envisage a nice ball of canna buds :-) Perhaps I am just a fool! Would look very cool if I can pull it off :-)

It is fun trying new stuff! Keeps me motivated :-)

Edit : I have a spare panel so could run a dimmed down top panel and a full power bottom one. Hmmmm.......

Short with curves in all the right places???

That is an old skool seed looking at its genetics! Will follow with interest :-)

Have you grown out low ryder auto strains before? They look ideal to plant under a rose bush :-)
