Unbelievable growth, roots galore.

So, went away leaving 4 x fastbuds GG on grow, automatic watering (wilma system using soil). I've come back to find them absolutely thriving!!! So much so that the roots have literally broken through the fabric pots and are hanging out the bottom approx 1ft into the wilma tray.

My concern is now anything root rot related, I've never had this happen.. I've never had plants grow so big and healthy (they're monsters) so what do I do with the 1ft of 'mane'-like roots dangling onto the plastic reservoir lid?? Any ideas or help would be much appreciated!!

44 days from planting

, they're only just starting to show pistols!

I started them and then got seperated from them due to this covid business. Very luckily I have my lights and watering on smart plugs and a very big reservoir! Couldn't physically see them but could control everything from my phone - and just based it all on watering and light schedule from past grows that have worked.

Was not expecting the size of them though when I got back today!!

Nah not the whole time mate, been unable to get back for a little over 2 weeks. They were nice and tall before but not with exposed roots!

This is why I love Wilma's, so little maintenance with great results.

I also have some fast buds Gorilla glue going at the moment, along with their six shooter. 2 Wilma big 4's with clay pebbles

I wouldn't worry about root rot.. not unless your res temps are hitting over 22c. In which case I'd reccomend looking into a chiller.
