    Default First Grow. 2x RipleyOG+DoubleGrape & 2x RipleyOG+S.O.D.K. Autos Week 5

1/7/20 - So New nutrients and LST are going great guns. All 4 plants responding great. The two Double Grapes are way bigger. The SODK still trailing behind size wise but not worried. They are the youngest so wait and see.

2/7/20 - Starting to see first pistils on #1Agnes. Awesome. Going to start adding a little bit of liquid PotAsh to the nutes mix from here on in. Cranking the LED to full spectrum mode.

4/7/20 - Pistils on #2Genevive starting to appear. Girls are all getting nice and big. Nice thick main stems are getting thicker daily. LST is a fun way to kill an hour a day. Also did a really light pruning to get the few leaves that were getting no light at all off. Collecting them for drying and then making a butter eventually.

5/7/20 - LST continues with good results. Watering at the moment is 5L of RO water between the 4 pots every 48hrs.
Every second watering receives Per litre
    50ml worm juice
    4ml GoGo juice
    20ml liquid sulphur(every 4th water)
2ml liquid pot ash(after pistils appear)

    Default First Grow. 2x RipleyOG+DoubleGrape & 2x RipleyOG+S.O.D.K. Autos Week 6

17-07-20 - last 10 days have seen a lot of growth. All 4 plants are flowering. I've been trying to defoliate the inner growth as best as possible but I think Agnes and Gen are getting a bit too bushy. Being my first grow I haven't for the life of me any idea which bits to trim. I mean do I snip any big fan leaves? Crikey. Any way. I added molasses to the nutes mix which now consists of the following:
    Per litre
    80ml worm juice
    4ml GoGo juice
    20ml liquid sulphur(every 4th water)
2ml liquid pot ash(after pistils appearance)
    4ml Molasses.
Flowering seems to be going well. Im tucking a few fan leaves under the flowering bits.
I've also changed the CFL lights in the rig from blue white 6400k to the much redder 2700k. I kept the LED on both switches to maximise lumens.
A few days ago my internal circulation fan slipped and was pointed at one of the girls, Clem I think point blank. All the new growth around the flowering spot curled up. I freaked but she recovered a day later.

Interesting crosses you have growing. Where did you get the seeds from?

I have a Ripleys OG on the go at the moment :-)

These are my friends F2's from his original Mephisto grows. I actually got them from him and had no idea who or what Mephisto was. After researching what kind of seeds I wanted to get down the track I found out I've got some of the best genetics all along. Hopefully his cuts are good. I'm very new to the growing world but I'm enjoying it a lot. Can't wait to have a few more grows under the belt.

    Defoliated a bit today.

Your friend has outstanding taste! You sure are working with great genetics.

I am in the process of reversing a Sour Crack to cross with some of my other girls. I generally only grow Mephisto.

I will definitely tag along to see how they develop. Your friend needs to name the crosses!!!

Hopefully I'll do them justice this first time round.

Keen to see the Sour Crack cross.

Are there any names left? Ha.

    Default First Grow. 2x RipleyOG+DoubleGrape & 2x RipleyOG+S.O.D.K. Autos Week 7

20/07/20 - Finally got the guts to take the snips to the girls. Did a needed defoliation and after 2 days they look great. Starting to be able to read the plant more. When the 2 bigger ones were all bushy and chaotic I didn't know where to start. Then you just kinda get in there and start. Now I see much more clearly. Flower growth seems steady. Looking at improvements for next grow.
One thing I think i didn't do right this time round was soil depth. The 25 litre bags I have are quite squat and I only filled them with 20 litres. Next time I'll be sure to fill to the top. This happened because I had forgot the place I ordered the bags from had no 20L as planned and I got the 25L ones. Then only had 80L of medium. Any way. Ha. Next one.
Also looking at some organic nutrients from Canna. Particularly the BioCanna range. I know they're pricey but I keep reading good things.
    More research is needed though.
My main thing I think I'd like to invest in is another Tent set up.
Soil pH is super steady and cycles between 6.4 - 6.8.
The smell is starting to get really nice in there.
