    Default How's my flow ?

I replaced the airpump that came with my waterfarm 35x35cm because I'm fussy about noise. I bought a little submersible water pump instead and in't installed. However, I'm concerned about the flow rate of the nutrients. I'm wondering if I should use a slightly bigger pump. Here is a video showing the flow. ( The good news is it's really quiet compared with an air pump )

    Many Thanks.

I believe it is okay. Once the plants are big enough so the roots reach reservoir, you dont even need the dripper if you had installed large airstone in the res. As recommended by Shark.

That drip is plenty mate. In fact it's probably too much I reckon to be honest. The default bubbler style drippers drip where as yours is flowing constantly. I'd probably deflect the flow or block flow for the holes nearest the plants so they're not too saturated early on. Let the roots go searching.

We actually left the drippers on all the way until near completition to get more nutes to roots via both the stones and via the res. When they were big enough we fed through the stones daily.

Having two in one pot could be a problem they can grow very big.

I like your idea with submersible. Do you have that in the waterfarm res or an external res?
