I wire and install ups on many access control units for doors and roller shutters.
A place a once stayed in Pakistan had four batteries and a inverter and I'm sure a volt drop switch of some sort . We had fans fridge and telly running for a good couple of hours.

So question is what VA do I need to keep running 100-200 watts for at least 3-4 hours?

    10x all
Might have been me, I was looking at UPS when doing Aeroponics. It's sat in the back bedroom. I got a deal on mine £250 + delivery for this with front plastic so keep your eye out...

    Ebay # 183117856860

Fujitsu UPS are basically rebranded APC UPS, you'll usually find them cheaper. It depends on your budget I guess. If you go cheap you'll have enough to sustain a blip in power surge. If you go bigger you'll have enough to last more time.

Does the 200w include everything, your lights, fans etc?

    Ebay # 391384048270 or # 390309738993

If you get a second hand one make sure it has new battery cells otherwise you could buy it and it be basically useless a month later.

OK, well you need either Ebay # 114238549160 or better # 401507492668

You will need about 2000VA for your consumption, if the batteries are good quality and new. 200W for lights and fans seems low though i'd check that.
