    Default Getting Mephistos to pop

Not been about for a while, wondered if anyone has managed to find a way to get a high success rate with Mephisto seeds? ????

Water soak for 24 hours then straight to medium, had 1 not germ (bought from a seed bank) and I believe that was my fault for flooding it out after I planted it.

All the ones bought direct from mephisto have popped with this method for me.

But I haven't done that many (7 seeds, just the 1 fail as above) so my experience is limited, Jumper does a fair few of these, see what he has to say as he has a lot more experience than I do with these genetics

NO SELL, NO SMELL, NO TELL!!!

Glad you had good luck with um mate, i bought the limited edition strains maybe 2 year back and took 15 seeds to get 4 plants! Such a shame because once they get going theyre spot on like...

Tried paper towel, soak and medium, straight medium... Dont really have issues with any other seeds, just these Mephistos

Edit: these were all bought direct too

Do you use a propagation mat?

That has given me near 100% success using the method Mac outlined.

No mate, just in an unheated prop. Dya think the soil could just be abit cold for the mephs liking? Maybe theyre abit more picky than the rest

Yeah I reckon. Try on top of the sky/cable box. Avoid the hottest section. I always wrap the pot in a freezer bag.

Until I was given a seed mat, this massively upped my germ rate from the airing cupboard (too hot). Otherwise high up in a warm room helps too. (Top of bookcase etc!)
