Default soaking the roots with neem/soapstones in wilma

it looks as though I have root aphids in my 4 pot Wilma. I've had advice on other threads and used the search.i've bought neem oil and soapstones and also an insecticide for hydro. has anyone any ideas as to applying the neem to the roots? it's been suggested 2ml/litre when drenching the roots.also should I turn off my pump/drippers and do a res change straight away. and also how often should I apply this.i've about 4 weeks left of flower.

I would treat once and if they weren't completely eliminated treat again in 3 days. You can mix up the same strength put a few drops of dish detergent in it and spray it on the plant stems and on top of pebbles or the top of your growing medium.

If everything looks okay and you can wait, I'd wait up to an hour before doing a full res change.
