    Default Which fabric post size?

    hey everyone

I am getting all the things together for my first autoflowering. I have never done photoperiods, either.

Can you please just tell me which fabric pot size would be good? I've been told that I can use the same pot size from seedling to harvest.

    Thanks

Depends on many factors such as how big a tent you have. How many you plan to grow.

Generally, bigger pot = bigger plant.

It is a good move to put autos in their final pot from the beginning. Saves stressing the plant. It can be done, not something I would recommend for a first grow.

Personally I use 3L most on here use 10L or bigger.

If you are in soil and the plant is a XXL then you probably want about a 20 l pot. If you are a growing an XL then 12-16 liter, I probably wouldn't go below 12 l with a fabric pot.

    Tent size = 120cm(L) x 120cm(W) x 200cm (H)

    Growing 1 plant in soil.

One XXL in that tent with a 20 l fabric pot would be about perfect. you still have to have a good quality light and everything else.

I use air pots and fabric wth xxls and never use less than 15ltr. Have tried from 1ltr up to 20 with autos ans would say 15-18ltr is perfect and larger if in a Standerd pot. Havent noticed a differnce in size and yeild in anything over 15l smart pots with autos

I use 3L and 5L fabric pots in my 60x60x120 tent. Judging by the size of your tent and the fact you’re only growing 1 plant I’d say a 15-20L pot will be best. Like Jumper114 said, a bigger pot will mean the plant has space to grow bigger.
I personally prefer to have a couple smaller plants over one big one, as if something goes wrong with one I have others and don’t have to start all over.

    Good luck!

Or one well-grown auto. Once you add in your fans and maybe a heater or a dehumidifier or filter and other things. You have just enough space to grow a 1 lb plant.

The above were 5-gallon fabric pots and just a couple of the monster autos I've grown that would fill that entire tent.
