So prob next month I'll have my main light ordered, I'll also order my DWC pot at same time. I might then think of starting a couple of plants off in a cupboard whilst waiting for a tent.

Now as I read more n more I've started to wonder.....
I have an abundance of florescent tubes from my reptile keeping days, would they be over benifit at all? Or would it be such a little difference you wouldnt bother?

Still waiting on ph and ec meter I k how I'm in a hard water area so will need to address that also but I have no idea whatever asto what companies nutrients are the easiest for a beginers 1st ever grow .
I don't know what wattage your floros are but you could use them for side lighting.

I'm not entirely sure what's what, gonna break all the Cubs down keeping all the tubes and see wat they are wattage wise.
Got a little led germinating box to start them off, product says not to open it up for 5- 7bdays after setting the seeds off, which in theory taking 1 wk for delivery I could possibly start these seeds, move to under the tubes for a couple of weeks maybe 3 and then the led should be here.
Starting to listen to myself and thinking is it worth trying to give myself a headstart whilst waiting for stuff to arrive or am I just giving myself more headache n heart break

Don't remember if you are doing autos or photos? If autos you will need that led before 3 weeks.

So I thought I wonder if I can find out roughly what's in my tap water to better understand what nutrients to use in my DWC , I knew I had hard water but didnt realise how hard, and never would have if i didnt take up this journey.

There are places that will test your water for free, and tell you what it has in it.

That report is from dec last yr done at houses in my postcode by the water supplier so thinking that as base point to start thinking about what nutrients I'll be needing and that I'm going to have to lower the ph and keep a close eye.
    More research for me,
