    A 2 litre bottle cut with the bottom half usually works well for me, but you can probably get better with glass mason jars and some of the other suggestions

    I have never used a humidity dome and have never had a seedling die on me.

    I've stood a humidity meter on the medium close to the seedling and it read high enough.

    I'm with E11. Why do people use the top half with the light blocking cap when they can just use the bottom half?
