Default Germination temperature in my kitchen cupboard.

hi, I'm just about to germinate my seeds using the paper towel method.

I'm planning to leave them in the kitchen cupboard which is in a dark place. I've just placed a digital thermometer/hydrometer in there for few hours. The temp is showing a max of 21 Celsius and the humidity is 60%.

Is 21 not enough? does it need to be above 24?

    Thanks

I usually just stick the moist paper towel in a zip lock bag. Put that in a wee plastic food tub. Two days or so....you should have a taproot. I have never worried about the temps when germinating. Some stick them on sky boxes n that for a little heat. I have never had to though

Put a dish cloth round the box they in. Make it dark lol.
But in the moist paper towel. Squeeze every bit of water out it. So its just moist. Place seeds on it. Fold it over. In a zip lock bag. In a food box. In the cupboard. Check them in two days. Never fails me lol
