Default First Grow on Death's Door

So I have two very sick puppies, honestly I think they're beyond salvation at this point but ya never know, ya gotta ask at least.

This is my very first grow and was done on the stingiest of shoestrings, covid etc. They've been (accidentally) overwatered and I'm pretty sure the roots are suffocating. They were supposed to be grown in Canna Terra Pro which has perlite in it, but the grow shop gave me the Pro Plus version, and I was so broke I couldn't even afford to buy some supplemental perlite, even if I could find any, which I couldn't. Garden centres had only just opened up at that stage, and stocks are still pretty grim even now.

On the advice of Illearth67 I got some Hydrogen Peroxide but all I could find was the stuff in the chemists, called every garden centre near me and drew a blank every time.

So what ya reckon, rip it up and start again? Or is there a glimmer of hope?

    Ooof.

That smacks of a watering issue to me. Too much, too fast and too much again. I've no idea whether they are rescuable, Chiefo.

Is the soil loose? It looks very compressed from over-watering to me?

No idea on the hydrogen peroxide, but someone will be along to validate or otherwise.

Yeah it's compressed to hell, I've definitely learned the perlite lesson, the thing I can't believe is the speed they went downhill, I was warned about overwatering a few times so I did make a fairly drastic reduction very early on, but I guess the damage was already done. If they're beyond rescue it'll just have to a hard-learned lesson, the quest to get high again will continue...

Give them a tidy up mate trimming those dead leaves, they'll attract unwanted guests
Youve got up to 7 weeks to chop and as I see buds I think you could still get a harvest out of them
I'm taking a guess that peroxide isn't so friendly on the microbes in the soil and causing its own issues, so it's not organic growing your aiming for?

That looks like over watering and over feeding N toxicity, the net time you prepare potting soil try 60% compost, 20% perlite and 20% vermiculite, this will aerate the soil and allow it to drain, also it allows a good root structure
So much to learn, so little time to learn it

Yeah chiefo realised early on that lacking perlite could hamper him /her down the line
I did the same this time around, when virus hit I couldn't get my usual soil so i got some cheap store bought dirt and it was heavy on the peat, even with the 20% perlite I added it still took nearly a fortnight to dry out
It was all fucked up until around the 5th week, then flower kicked in
Admittedly it's been on 12/12 I know no use for autos but it's in with my photoperiod plant and got sick of it pissing aroundClick image for larger version.

Cheers I made them as presentable as possible given the circumstances, still in two minds about the H2O2, not fussed about organic I just wanna be able to get myself high again by whatever means necessary, but something tells me with my luck that'll be the final death-knewll

Yeah it's a double whammy of crap, couldn't get it even if I could afford it, not gonna go into my finances cos I don't have any but if times were normal I'd have just bought a top-of-the-range everything and got a kick-ass hydro setup and just let it do its thing, but where's the sense of accomplishment in that? Although having said that I'll be honest if times were normal I'd still be getting my weed in the traditional fashion
