Default Does Indica/Sativa Matter to you ?

I know people say ohhh "sativa gives me loads of energy" - I can do all my work, blah, blah... However, I'm not sure if it's just me, it doesn't matter, as I have a super high tolerance and if anything, even when I smoke a shit load, all I wanna do is lay down. Not sure if it's just me but it does not seem to matter to me.

I smoke sativas all day long because of my narcolepsy and dysautonomia. I find that there are two main effects with most sativas and then a third effect when there are certain terpenes present.

I look for strains that are energy neutral or slightly energy increasing and are not related through lineage to an old land race sativa. Most land race sativas I've smoked have a combination of terpenes or something that'll put me right to sleep. I used to buy Durban poison just for the sleep effect.

A good indica is very narcotic for me, even down to the point of making it hard to pee. I tend to smoke those only in the evening where I don't mind sitting on the couch wondering what I just did with the last couple hours.

I prefer Sativa as Indica makes me glued to the couch/bed/car seat or wherever the hell I am. I can't trust myself when I smoke Indica because I can fall asleep anywhere anytime. For someone struggling with chronic pain or insomnia I think Indica is great.

I honestly don't even remember the last time I smoked Indica. Sativa is my go to always. My favorite Sativa strain is Sour Diesel and Blue Dream (Sativa dominant hybrid) .

The main reason I prefer sativa is because Sativa is a stimulant,

I've only been smoking my recent harvest since Covid started last March - OG Kush = 80% Indica strain & Kryptonite a 50/50 Sativa dominant strain (can it be though?). I've become accustomed to these two strains and have to say they hold true to their stereotype! I can't wait to get into some of the new strains I'm currently growing, i quit going to despensaries. So I feel this wait will be an exceptional one with new highs to experiance!

When I run autos I usually put a couple of stress killers in, from my experiences THC/CBD ratio is more important than sativa or indica. Although I do want to run a Dr Grinspoon grow one day to truly feel.
I grind up the stress killer with a THC strain, the closer to 50/50 you get the less you want to fall into a coma. High is pleasant, more focussed without being numbing or overwhelming.

smoking a sativa to sleep is an impossible mission for me.
Bit annoying that a lot of things these days are hybrids, usually on the sativa side.
Kinda what brought me to the forum so I can source 100% indica or high indica strains and do it me self.

An older post to quote but this is an accurate description for me as well. Not sure if I like it
