All depends on a lot of factors bud.
    Growing medium soil or coco?
    Photoperiod or autoflowers?
Is it legal where you live?
    Do you have nosey neighbours?
    Do you have pest animals?
    Do you have decent weather?

    And welcome to the forum.

Hi JayG welcome to the talk bud, are you growing in pots or in the dirt, slugs are a big problem when its wet, aphids are a pain in the arse but you can wash those off with neam oil and a small drop of mild detergent before budding (not after). You can grow companion plants that attract a variety bugs away from your plant, put a layer of perlite or sharp grit around the base of your plant slugs don't travel well over it. Can you keep it away from prying eyes, it will stink when it starts to bud and not just standing next to it, if its an auto in a pot you can move it around and keep it in the sun or move it when it need hiding. I've got 2 autos and a photo in pots outside ATM autos are about 7-800mm high easy to move and hide, the photo's a bit more of a problem tats 1300mm high a bit like a good sized Christmas tree.
So much to learn, so little time to learn it
