Thanks for the tip I found it on Google lens they are harlequin bug nymphs, apparently they like to eat about anything that has to do with vegetation especially squash. The adult bugs that is, I guess they're a type of stink bug. So I will have to check all my plants real careful and decide whether I need to do more than just pick them off.
