Exclamation White spots on fan-leaves, early veg stage

    Hi once more Guys.

This is a phenomena my friend is experiencing, he started with his first grow after being inspired by my newfound hobby.

    Strain: Northern Lights Auto
Grow medium: Coco with ~20% perlite
Light : Started them indoor under a set of LED reflector ( probably insufficient ) Put outdoors in week 3
    Pot size: 4.2gal / 16l plastic
Nutrient type and schedule : tap water

This is the only plant out of 6 that has any kind of apparent issue, there are white spots all over the fan leaves - could anyone tell whether this is a nutrient/ph or insect problem ?

I can't really tell from the picture, but white spots on young vegging plants are usually powdery mildew. If it's powdery mildew it usually wipes off quite easy with your thumb and then it'll leave little pinpricks through the leaf underneath where the mildew was. The cure is more airflow and dryer weather or you can also do folair applications of neem oil.

It's interesting the way things are so different between us just because of the outdoor humidity, my outdoor humidity is about 10% and I usually water my vegetable gardens in the middle of the night. It's real common for me to water from midnight to 2:00 a.m. and then shut things down.
