    Default Leaf Diagnosis

    Hi guys,
My hydro grow is in week 3 and I have some deficiencies appearing in my leaves.
I wonder if anyone could help diagnose for me please?

My grow is NFT, with a 20l reservoir which I have just flushed with Florakleen for 24h, and then new nutrients, following the GH Flora guidelines for Hydro. I also added a teaspoon of Calmag to the mix before I added the nutrients.
This is my 2nd grow in my hydro, and the 1st was super successful. I also had some issues in the beginning last time, but once I got it dialled in it was perfect.
The Res temp sits between 19 and 22C. EC of the Res was 1.0, but I thought this may be nutrient burn, so I diluted it with PH'd water last night, and brought the EC down to 0.6.
The PH is at 6.3 at the moment. It was a bit lower yesterday (6.2).
    Any help gratefully accepted.
I don't want my little girls dying on me...

Your leaves are showing you that your pH is swinging in too wide range. that is caused by the amount of nutrients you're putting into your water.

This link has a good write-up on how to read the pH EC and water level to determine your feed.

ph needs to be lowered to 5.7 dude .6.3. is at the high end of the spectrum for hydroponics , drop the calmag down to 1/3 strenght theres usually a good amount in tap water so no need to go full on it , causes all sorts of probs as Calcium nitrate e.c. replaces alot of other needed nutrients , if at one third still causes probs. then lower again to 1/4.

Thanx for the quick replies guys.
    Just got in from work.
Gonna drop the res PH to 5.7 as recommended.
Should I drain and redo this nutrient feed?
It's a bit all over the place now what with the dilution I did.

You're not going to have any real success if you adjust the pH of your reservoir, you need to adjust your feed and only pH it when you mix a fresh res. If it doesn't stay in the proper pH range then you need to adjust your feed level.
