You wanted to plant the seed under the surface by about 3/16 of an inch with the tip of the root up that would cause the root to go up back down and then pull the top off the seed, but I can see that seed just laying on the surface so I'd go ahead and stick a tap root down now and get it underneath the top of that coco.

Quick question (probably a stupid one) do these look a bit light in colour and is the one at the top the leaf has been curled over too and won’t straighten up?

They do look a bit pale, but you can't really tell anything from a picture on Tapatalk. They'll straighten up just fine I wouldn't worry about that.

Are you feeding yet? I always pre-charge my cocoa with a little bit of nutrients and have a weak nutrient mix to water in.

It's very hard to over water with cocoa but I've done it, I've managed to do about everything you can't do good or bad. as long as your coco is moist and your watering out away from the seedling so that it has to reach out a little bit for the moisture you'll be fine.

Yeah they are a bit paler compared to the others but I have watered them all the same with a tiny bit of cal mag and rhizotonic which helps seedlings and small plants grow and form a good route system. To be honest I have watered them with a spray bottle just to wet the plants and then to keep the top of the coco moist too

You're going to want to water nutrients directly into the coco at least as soon as your first true leaves appear. I like having my coco pre-charged with nutrients, sometimes seedlings really take off and they can suffer if they don't have nutrients all the way down to the bottom of the pot.

Do these look pale? I’m ten days in since they sprouted above the coco, I’ve fed them twice with cal mag but the second feed I added canna a and b and rhizotonic not sure if I’ve not put enough in as there not as dark as what they first come out as? Also when should I put them under the lights? As they have been by a window the last ten days? I’ve got a 250w dual spectrum bulb to go under until I get my mh bulb through the post?

    Thanks in advance

No you're doing just fine, it's a nice even color of green and your cotyldons are still green also. You should reliably be able to feed half the strength that's recommended until you get a couple nodes and then you can probably go full strength on your nutrient schedule. Of course, keep in mind you have to know what your background water is and adjust your fead accordingly.
