    Cool Where the OG's?

Abit of a newbie at growing weed. I'm 22 days into a DWC 2 pot setup and I'm looking for a veteran to give me some tips on how to proceed. I had some root rot in the early days but added hydroguard and more oxygen then within 24 hours 95% of that annoying slimey shit was gone

When do I flip them? They're both wedding gelato. Which is 80% indica 20% sativa, or roundabouts. Currently on a 18/6 light cycle.

What training techniques should I be using? I've looked into Topping/FIMing, LST, lollipopping, defoliation, cloning etc but never tried any of them. If you'd recommend any, which and when?

I already feel like I should be removing some of these big fan leaves which look like they're shading the bud sites. I've attached some pics... And wtf are those brown/gold spots?

    Looks good.

Which nutes are you running? Do you measure ph and ec?

Id take away the humidifier or at least put on low lest setting. Rh 60% is ideal.

Those spots on leaves look like either cal or mg deficiency ill never remember which is what ...

Atb man, open up a grow diary, so everyone can help.

General hydroponics 3 part nutrients. PH ranges anywhere between 5 - 8 but when I add or change the water I try to get it as near to 5.8 as I can. Same with PPM, usually in mid 300 range. Humidity is about 60% with the humidifier and can drop to 30s when it's off.

You clearly know your stuff. I get the feelin from ya profile you've been growing for a while. So any answers for my other questions?

Better measure ec than ppm. As ppm has 3 different values i think.. hanna truncheon and another one.. so better use Ec like majority of growers. Go for 1.0 EC during veg and what u mean between 5 to 8 lol.. u need 5.8 ph during veg and 6.0 during flower plus minus 0.2 ec swing... So 5.6 to 6.0 during veg and 5.8 to 6.2 during flower.

I dont know GH nutes but keep ur water temp below 20c..

Doesnt matter which technique u gona choose.

Dont over feed. Keep stats good. Im having extreme rh problem in my current grow waiting on de humidifier.

Veg u can go up to 30c and 70% rh . Flower keep 26-7c and 40-50% rh. Good air circulation ia crucial.

Id go for an early topping then lst anyday. In your shoes now id use bamboo sticks to shape em a little bit wider. Id flip the switch yesterday, as they gona stretch and double in size.

Thanks man, I'll flip it to 12/12 tonight. Might even top one of them too. Should I put the HPS bulb in straight away or leave the MH bulb in for abit longer?
