I have the perfect solution for UK summer temps at a reasonable price aslong as you have the room.. will be doing a thread on it at some point when I build it but it is tried and tested can run 2kw of light in a 1.2mx1.2m tent and have temps a steady 26.. if I get enough interest I will do a full in depth DIY AC for less than £200 thread

It’s not that warm is it?

First summer in years that I haven’t battled with temperatures.

That's my worry... it's warm but not hot! When we do get hotter days than now it's going to be crackers. Don't seem to be showing heat stress but 32/33c is no good. Worth going down to 1 600w instead of 2?

What will be the trade off in light or heat...

less light = less heat = better conditions = better bud

    more light = more bud

More light = more heat = more stress = less bud?

    What's you experience? My canopy is 1.8m x 1.5m.

Have a look at Jumpers diary or some of the loft grow boys and when ya get into their territory then ya start to raise an eyebrow 40º+ isn't uncommon.

Airflow is king, not allowing that hot air to stay in one place is the aim, always keep it moving and you will be ok. Think where a lot of these strains come from... California, Pakistan, Afghanistan, South Africa, Jamaica etc. UK summer isn't quite on par with those, a lot of strains will handle it no problem so long as they can transpire (sweat), keep the humidity in line and air flowing. If you want some more indepth reading about it have a look on google for "Vapour Pressure Deficit"

Amnesia Auto please do document the AC I'm sure it will interest a lot of people, my self for one. Look forward to it fella

NO SELL, NO SMELL, NO TELL!!!

    I'm at 33c with 2x 600w 's.

Plants don't seem to be bothered so maybe I shouldn't be
